Sexual Trauma Clinical Consultation Group
Working with survivors of sexual trauma can bring complex clinical questions and moments when treatment feels stuck. You may find yourself wondering whether a client is ready for deeper trauma processing, needs additional stabilization, or is experiencing fear, guilt, shame, self-blame, or protective responses that are difficult to recognize in session.
The Sexual Trauma Clinical Consultation Group is a monthly virtual consultation space for therapists seeking support with case conceptualization, treatment planning, and navigating the complexities of sexual trauma treatment.
Together, we will explore clinical stuck points, identify what may be happening beneath the surface, and consider what the client may need next.
Consultation may include:
Case conceptualization and treatment planning
Identifying clinical stuck points
Trauma-processing readiness and treatment pacing
Nervous system capacity, regulation, and stabilization
Fear, guilt, shame, and self-blame
Dissociation, avoidance, and protective trauma responses
Attachment and relational wounds
EMDR and Brainspotting considerations for appropriately trained clinicians
